servus.at is a non-profit net culture initiative based in Linz. As main focus, servus.at deals with the demystification of technology through cultural as well as technical processes. It produces artistic research projects on the phenomena of digital and networked cultures, and organizes the biennial festival "Art Meets Radical Openness" in cooperation with the University of Arts Linz. https://radical-openness.org/

The association also operates an independent cultural data center with open source basic services for its members, which include art and culture producers, alternative educational institutions, free media, university institutions and NGOs.

Potato Publishing

Potato Publishing is a non-commercial label and artist collective. We offer an open risography printing workshop, an open archive/library, and organize events and workshops in the field of self-publishing. Collaborative work processes, interdisciplinary networking and low-threshold, collectively used infrastructure form the foundation for our activities. The workshop and archive can currently be visited in at Waldeggstrasse 116, 4020 Linz, Austria. We are open for collaborations and exchange of knowledge and ideas.

Department of Visual Communication, University of Arts Linz

The Department of Visual Communication administers two study programmes: the Bachelor curriculum Graphic Design and Photography (6 semesters) as well as, since autumn 2009, the two-year Master programme Visual Communication Graphic-Design and Photography.

Department of Time-based Media, University of Arts Linz

The Department of Time-based Media employs interdisciplinary methodologies to address different ways of working with time-based media, i.e. video (in theory and practice), film (theory) and sound, media installations and productions, interactive systems, designing with digital media and innovative programming.
