Beyond Limits (audio descriptions)

Workshop @ Kulturverein zur Schießhalle
Thursday 27 Nov
14:00 ‑ 15:30

Project description

The project proposes an innovative approach to the enjoyment of cultural heritage, making each visit a shared and participatory experience. At the heart of the project are the A11Y 1.0 and 2.0 devices, which allow visitors to record personal audio descriptions, but the initiative also includes workshops and sensory activities that directly involve the public, promoting accessibility, pluralistic storytelling and active participation. Participants will experiment with the A11Y devices, contributing their impressions and emotions to the creation of a library of voices that describe cultural heritage from different perspectives. The project aims to transform cultural enjoyment into an inclusive, accessible and lively experience. It promotes diversity of perspectives, dialogue and sharing, showing how innovative tools and participatory practices can make culture more engaging, shared and accessible to all.

This workshop requires mobile phones with internet access.
