== Editorial on Neurodiversity ==

On Day 5, the editorial team was asked to create a piece on neurodiversity and accessibility. We were particularly influenced by the talk Autism, Justice & Design — An Intersectional Approach by Sybille Bauer-Zierfuß. During the lecture, she introduced the term epistemic humility, which in this context meant acknowledging that one should not pretend to understand autism when, in reality, one does not.
After the talk, we knew more than before, yet still not enough to confidently produce an informed zine. As a response, we designed a poster stating: “We don’t know enough about autism to make a zine about it. Sorry.”
We also compiled our notes from the talk onto a long roll of paper, punctuated at irregular intervals with the phrase “Work in Progress.” This served as a reminder that, although we do not yet know enough to create a fully developed zine, we are committed to continuing the work of learning.

The editorial was created by Johanna Heller, Blanka Mocová, Timm Felder, and Jeremy Traun.
Our sincere thanks go to the Potato Publishing team for making this project possible & Obsolet Studio that shared the results from the "Don't blame the machine — low‑tech print" workshop.
==== Project Description ====
inter*printer refers to the in-between state that connects analog and digital publishing processes, as well as the the connection and interpersonal networking between individuals and collectives.

During d*sign week, the inter*printer is a collaborative process involving collecting, documenting, visualizing, curating, translating, publishing, reflecting, analyzing, learning, discussing, experimenting.

Taking place throughout the d*sign week, inter*printer functions as a collective action of experiencing the programme, actively involving the participants of the festival in documenting what happens in each event. Everyone is invited to contribute creatively with notes, scribbles, photos and texts that can be placed in shared folders and physical boxes. Special tools and concepts for documentation will also be made available to visitors of the d*sign week.

The collection is then processed in a daily editorial routine lead by Collectors Collective, a group of students of the Department of Visual Communication from the University of Arts Linz. At the studio of Potato Publishing the Collectors Collective edits and publishes the notes, drawings, photos and texts from the day before in the form of prints and publications. These visualize discussions, workshops and ideas, and explore new connections across the festival programme. After each session the content will be digitalized and feed back to the d*signwiki as a digital archive.

===== Who can participate? =====
Visitors of the dsign week are warmly invited to share their impressions and notes and make them available to the editorial process.

===== Who can participate? =====
Visitors of the dsign week are warmly invited to share their impressions and notes and make them available to the editorial process.

===== How to submit? =====
Via upload to: https://cloud.servus.at/s/4FXKW9SQRDr97yL or in person at the event.

Our sincere thanks go to the Potato Publishing team for making this project possible.
On Day 4, the editorial team produced a zine that brought together outcomes from several workshops: pen-plotter drawings generated during the Open Source Publishing session, illustrations from the Team Blinding Workshop, and photographs and notes taken throughout the inclusion talk All Kinds of Makers – My Tool My Choice* by Olivia Jaques.
Printed in pink and black, the zine functions like a modular puzzle: each page stands on its own but can also be assembled into a full poster when arranged correctly. Every segment contains a statement on inclusion and participation, collected across the workshops and discussions.

The editorial team consisted of three members from Kunstuniversität Linz:
Christina Lamprecht / Carina Eglhofer / Jeremy Traun

We extend our sincere thanks to OSP members Doriane Timmermans and Vinciane Daheron for their valuable input and for providing the ASCII tool Cobbled Paths, which we used for parts of the typography.
Our gratitude also goes to potato publishing for granting us access to their risograph facilities and for providing all the tools and space needed to realise this project. And of course Otis who was a huge inspiration.
